Frequently Asked Tax Season Questions:
Should I come to the office/drop-off if I have ANY symptoms?
No - if you or anyone in your household is feeling sick we ask that you please do not come in. Help keep our team healthy.
How can I send in my tax documents?
Submit tax information via Portal, drop-off, mail, fax, email, FedEx, UPS.
What should I do if I only have some of my tax documents?
Please send your information when you have the majority of your documents, we can get started with processing. Your return will not be finalized until we have all materials.
When is the deadline to send in my tax documents?
Deadline to provide materials is Monday, March 25 - after that date a late fee will be charged.
If I get a filing extension, does that extend the tax-owed deadline?
An extension of time to file is NOT an extension to pay any tax owed (anything owed is due April 15th).
Does filing my return in February or March mean that any tax owed is due as soon as the return is filed?
No – any federal or state tax owed with your return is due 4/15. Filing the return before that date does not change the payment due date.
When do I need to pay for my tax return?
Your return must be paid for before filing (we accept cash, checks, all 4 major credit cards).
Do I get a copy of my tax return?
A paper copy of your return will be provided upon completion.
- A digital copy is automatically provided if you have a Portal account.
- Additional digital or paper copies can be provided upon request at an extra charge.
How can I check my refund status?
Check the IRS website or your state’s Dept. of Revenue website.
We can only tell you if your return was filed/accepted."
